Sticky Pork Ribs – Best Recipe 2018
I come from a family of simple people. And as the motto of many people is “pork – the best vegetable”, it does not miss from our table at family reunions.
Usually, for those who are great pork amateurs, these sticky pork ribs are the ultimate delight.
I never understood why, because there’s not so much meat on them, but a lot of bones.
Anyways, I have to admit they’re damn delicious! However, after serving these to my loved ones, they are all delighted.
Prep Time: 8 h
Cook Time: 4 h
Servings: 5
Ingredients:
Directions:
- Let the pork ribs overnight in the fridge to marinate, with sugar (and salt to taste), covered with a plastic wrap.
- In a large bowl, pour soy sauce, honey, ketchup, sesame oil, tabasco, mustard, red vinegar, oyster sauce and white onion finely chopped. Mixing everything until you get a tied, dark-colored sauce.
- (optional) pour the sauce over the ribs and leave them in the refrigerator for another two hours.
- Heat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) and let the pork ribs cook for 4 hours, or how much you think it is needed because the baking time varies depending on how big the ribs are. Check every hour and brush them with sauce from the tray.
- When ready, cut them in pieces bone by bone, put them on a plate, and put the remaining sauce separately in a small bowl.
Notes:
I recommend you to use the same recipe for the sauce and the same cooking mode for chicken wings. The sticky pork ribs are delicious, but the chicken wings (I do not understand how!) I have to admit that my muse makes them better, even if it is the same recipe!

“Pork – the best vegetable” :))))) is not our motto, but we sure enjoy it…Sticky pork ribs are also a delicacy for me and my family.
So we have one thing in common Emily :)))
I’ve made these yesterday. Wow! I’ve been making sticky pork ribs with the same recipe for years now, and I’ve always been delighted, but now it’s gone to another level. They were awesome! We like spicy food, so my choice for barbecue sauce was a chipotle barbecue sauce. I also didn’t have a lot of dried barbecue sauce to clean. Another bonus hehe
It sounds good what you say. I will try, thank you Madison!
