Solid Homemade Perfume Recipe
First Step
Since this is such an easy product to make, you can prepare many different flavors for different people.
The first thing to do is to determine how much solid perfume you want to make.
Here’s a basic rule: equal parts beeswax and base oil. The first time you can use two tablespoons of beeswax and two tablespoons of almond oil.
If you think that the mixture is to thick when melted, you can add more along the way.

Second Step
Before melting the beeswax/oil mixture, try the aromatic oils in a separate container.
It is important to find a scent that you like, before mixing the oil with wax. You can use 15-20 drops of aromatic oil per 1 tablespoon of beeswax.
You can add more or less, depending on how intense you’d like your perfume to be.
This is also an excellent time to open up and prepare your containers and put them on a surface ready for pouring. You can’t do that while you have a bowl of hot liquid in your hands!

Third Step
Use a special pot for the bain-marie. It is not recommended to melt the wax in the microwave, so if you don’t have a suitable bowl for the bain-marie, use the classic bain-marie method: place a smaller pot inside a bigger one.
Stir the wax, as it melts down. Add the aromatic oil when the wax is completely melted.
Fourth Step
When everything is melted and mixed, pour the mixture into prepared containers.
If the mixture starts to harden before you empty the pot, just put it back on the stove to melt it again.
Allow the mixture to thicken for few hours, and that’s it!
A quick and fun DIY! Try different aromas for your loved ones.
