Chicken Alfredo with penne pasta is the ideal choice for a fast and delicious dinner for the whole family. In just 30 minutes and only 5 minutes “stolen” from you by the cooking time, you can yell at your family members to come and sit at the table. Dinner is ready!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Yields: 6 servings
Ingredients:
Directions:
- Prepare a large pan, in which the whole preparation should fit. Cut the chicken into cubes. Season with half a teaspoon of salt and pepper to taste. Fry chicken cubes in olive oil at medium heat.
You do not have to cook it all the way. There will be time to do it with the rest of the ingredients added in turn as follows.
- When the chicken is no longer pink, add the chopped garlic and stir for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, uncooked pasta and mix well. Bring to boil then cover the pot and let it boil over, on medium to low heat for 15-20 minutes or until you notice the pasta is ready.
- Remove from heat. Add the shredded parmesan cheese and mix. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on each portion.
Notes:
The best thing about this chicken Alfredo recipe? You only need one pot to cook it! The sink will not be full of dishes, as usual, hehe.
There will be about four servings of chicken alfredo with penne pasta with the quantities of ingredients given.
